Located just ½ mile from Florida’s Turnpike the 100 apartment development is on a major bus route and is also served by the town’s community bus service. The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has designated Griffin Garden Apartments as an elderly only facility. This community offers many activities and amenities to its elderly population including a Resident Relations office with staff available to provide assistance and resources to residents. In addition, monthly resident meetings feature guest speakers from agencies ranging from the local fire department to Elderly Affairs offering advice on issues such as hurricane preparedness and home safety.
