Located just south of the Ashley River, Ashley River Plantation is the perfect setting for seniors to live life to the fullest. Our spacious grounds provide plenty of room for daily walks and our front porch rocking chairs make spending time outside enjoyable. We provide assisted living and memory care services for seniors who require assistance but still want to remain as independent as possible.
Ashley River Plantation is owned by Five Star Senior Living. Five Star is a healthcare and senior living services provider that operates independent and assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation hospitals, institutional pharmacies and outpatient health rehabilitation clinics throughout 30 states.
Ashley River Plantation offers studio and two-bedroom apartments that come in either semi-private or private arrangements. We provide three well-balanced and nutritious meals every day and snack are available all day long. To give our community a neighborhood feel, we have a beauty shop, ice cream parlor and spacious porch.
We provide a set of daily activities that are designed to meet each senior’s physical, mental, social and spiritual needs. These activities include day trips to local attractions, shopping, music events, Wii gaming, crafts, worship services and seminars. Many community events are planned throughout the month to include seniors’ families.

Every senior in our community has a health management plan that is designed specifically for them. This is done to ensure that each resident at Ashley River Plantation receives the proper level of services. Our staff are available to help with the activities of daily living, such as grooming, bathing, eating and taking medications.
We have a specialized memory care program that is designed to work with each senior on an individualized basis. Through the Bridge to Rediscovery program, we strive to keep seniors engaged while accomplishing new tasks every day. We believe in helping each senior keep their dignity and independence as they find joy in everyday life.
