It also has a choral group open to those aged 55 and over, giving them the opportunity to build social connections and cultivate their vocal talent while providing a valuable service to the community. 
Area Agency on Aging of Palm Beach/Treasure Coast, Inc. (866) 684-5885 The Area Agency on Aging of Palm Beach/Treasure Coast provides two dozen programs and initiatives to meet the needs of those aged 60 and over in the Vero Beach region. Through this organization, older adults can connect with options counselors who help them assess their care needs and budgets and find long-term care options and public benefits that may help pay for services. The office also provides direct services such as transportation, congregate meals, social and recreational activities and evidence-based wellness programs.  
Veterans Services (772) 226-1145 Indian River County’s Veterans Services division helps older veterans and their qualifying family members with accessing local, state and federal benefits and programs. Through this office, visitors can file applications for Aid and Attendance and pension benefits and locate supportive resources in the community such as transportation services, counseling and medical care. The office can also help seniors obtain discharge upgrades and compile necessary documents for submitting benefits applications to the VA. 
Florida Rural Legal Services (888) 582-3410 Florida Rural Legal Services provides free legal information and assistance to seniors in Vero Beach and the surrounding region. Through its Fort Pierce office, which is located about 15 miles south of Vero Beach, older adults get personalized assistance with determining eligibility and submitting applications for public benefits such as Medicaid, which may cover some or all of their assisted living and medical expenses.
