Avondale’s assisted living costs are significantly lower than California and $350 under the median in New Mexico. However, prices in Utah ($3,400) and Nevada ( $3,595) are even lower.
Avondale is the second most affordable area in Arizona for assisted living. Costs are only $50 above Lake Havasu ($3,650). On the southern end of the state in cities like Yuma ($4,025), Tucson ($4,075) and Sierra Vista ( $4,000), median monthly rates for assisted living are at least $300 higher than in Avondale. In northern Arizona, Flagstaff has the highest assisted living median cost of $4,875 per month.
