Annapolis is $150 cheaper than the Maryland average of $4,900 on a month-to-month basis, but it is also $250 more expensive than the U.S. average of $4,500.
Hagerstown is the only Maryland city that reports a lower monthly cost than Annapolis; its price point of $4,630 beats Annapolis’ by $120. Salisbury’s cost of $4,980 a month makes it $230 more expensive than Annapolis’ fees. Maryland’s highest average price, $5,248, is reported by Cumberland, making the city’s costs roughly $500 more expensive than Annapolis’ fees for assisted living. Prices are also higher in Washington, D.C., where residents see an average price of $5,948 for assisted living, and in Harrisburg, PA, where the average price is $4,828 a month.
