Summer Run’s Affordable Retirement Living Complex offers quality senior living to seniors 62 years and older near Southeast 82nd Avenue and Interstate 205 in Portland, Oregon. Our charming 50 unit campus consists of studio and one-bedroom apartments. The architectural design is comfortably inviting with several spacious common areas, quiet spots for reading, and a community room that opens out onto a beautiful patio and garden area. Our building is situated in the perfect area to fully utilize public transportation, and enjoying shopping, dining, and entertainment opportunities.
Summer Run’s owners Kimi-Wa, Inc. (meaning “NEW DAY” or “NEW BEGINNING” in native languages) have always strived to provide exceptional low income housing for the elderly. Our doors opened to seniors in 1984 due to the hard work, dedication and efforts of the Native American people of Portland, the Urban Indian Council, and financing secured from Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Today, Kimi-Wa’s vision has been realized by providing quality housing while encouraging independence, strong community bonds, and close relationships among residents. Respected elders live, grow, and thrive at Summer Run because they are supported and encouraged on a daily basis.
