Springfield Rehabilitation and Health Care Center is a private, 120-bed home offering skilled nursing care to seniors who have experienced a stroke, a serious illness or major surgery. Residents of Springfield are free to visit nearby retail shops, restaurants and parks as well as the aquarium, Japanese gardens and museums.
Springfield Rehabilitation and Health Care Center has fully trained caregivers to assist seniors with getting in and out of the shower, dressing, eating and taking medications properly. Nurses are available 24 hours a day to help manage pain, heal wounds and provide diabetic care. Physical, occupational and speech therapists help seniors regain their strength and independence through various rehabilitation treatments. In-home caregivers can get some relief by taking advantage of the center’s short-term respite care services.
