Welcome to Scott Hill Retirement Community! At Scott Hill Retirement Community, we care about the comfort and happiness of every resident. Our purpose is to provide an affordable, pleasing place to live for persons 62 and over, or those applying for an apartment specifically constructed to be accessible to people with physical handicaps.
Scott Hill Retirement Community is an attractively designed, elevator-equipped retirement community consisting of one and two bedroom apartments with full kitchens. Residents furnish their apartment with favorite personal belongings. Each apartment has oversize thermal pane windows for maximum sunlight and scenic views of the surrounding Allegheny mountains and the Jackson River.
A Large community room and kitchen are available for group events. Other amenities include comfortable lounge areas, laundry facilities on each floor, and a courtyard with gazebo.
Six sun porches and a variety of large and small activity areas located throughout, give residents ample opportunities for indoor gardening and a variety of leisure pursuits. Handicapped accessible minibus transportation is available on a scheduled basis Monday through Friday and emergency response service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Persons wishing to reside at Scott Hill must have an adjusted income which does not exceed federally established income limits for the Clifton Forge area. The amount paid for rent, including a utility allowance, will not exceed 30% of an eligible resident's adjusted income.
