Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) offers housing opportunities to older adults and individuals with disabilities in apartment complexes in several Illinois communities including Aurora, Batavia, Chicago, Danville, Deerfield, DeKalb, Dolton, Freeport, Joliet, Lansing, Rockford, Rock Island and Wilmette.
LSSI's housing units offer much more to people than just a place to live. LSSI offers housing that nurtures the human spirit, helping people to grow and flourish within comfortable and attractive housing facilities. Assisted Living Services offer residents physical assistance in the comfort and dignity of their own apartment. Services include 24-hour catered service, 24-hour emergency response, daily visits from staff, weekly housekeeping and medication set-up by a professional nurse.
Social service coordinators are available to assist residents in obtaining supportive community resources that address their emotional, social and spiritual needs.
Many of LSSI's complexes provide transportation to residents for shopping, social and community events.
LSSI also provides Home Care Services in their housing complexes. Services include but are not limited to housekeeping, grocery shopping and meal preparation, and transportation to medical and other appointments. Home Care Services also help older adults maintain their independence and sense of well-being.

About Lutheran Social Services of Illinois Founded in 1867, Lutheran Social Services of Illinois is a statewide, not-for-profit social service agency of the three Illinois synods of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
