Platinum Oaks is a small, home-like facility that only has five residents at a time. It provides personal services based on each individual’s needs. Some residents only receive assistance with medication or meals, while others also require help with bathing, grooming or mobility issues. The staff participates in ongoing formal education as well as in-house training on a routine basis. Residents share three home-cooked meals each day in the dining room, and nutritious snacks are always available.

However, a variety of common areas, including a reading and game room, sunroom and fenced backyard area provide plenty of space for socializing and hobbies. The staff also plan regular social activities to help keep residents engaged in the community.
