McGordons Health and Wellness is located in Lakeland, Florida, a city in the central part of the state that provides seniors with plenty of things to do and see. The Lakeland YMCA offers tai chi classes, and there is also table tennis and softball. Multiple organizations help keep seniors involved in the community, such as the AARP chapter and the American Sewing Guild.
McGordons is a small assisted living facility that also provides memory care in a home-like atmosphere. Staff members are available 24 hours a day and can assist in monitoring blood sugar and even help ensure medication is taken in the correct dosages and times. Meals are provided three times a day to all occupants, along with housekeeping and assistance with grooming and other daily tasks.
