Senior communities are for seniors who can take care of themselves, but may receive additional services like transportation to a convenience store, bank, barber/beauty shop. Also, Kern Village Assisted Living is a Micro community, which means it is a smaller senior community. Some people prefer it for its smaller less institutional setting.
