Welcome to Genesis Senior Living Center! Genesis Care Center gives rehabilitative, skilled nursing, and long-term care residents a comfortable, home-like environment. Located near major highways and the Des Moines International Airport, we make it easy for friends and family to visit. The center offers private and semi-private room options, along with a complete slate of comprehensive therapy services. Additionally, Genesis provides respite, palliative, and hospice care.
Beyond the services offered through our well-appointed therapy department, Genesis has around-the-clock medical support with a full team of RNs, LPNs and other caregivers, as well as a medical director, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. Whether you need ongoing care or restorative therapies to return home, Genesis offers the high quality, compassionate care you need to thrive.
Genesis Care Center features private and semi-private rooms with comfortable, nurturing surroundings in which residents flourish through rehabilitation and care. Physician and podiatry services are provided on-site, as well as individual and group activity programs. Our dedicated nursing and therapy staff works closely with our activities coordinator to create a full slate of events, crafts, projects, and outings in Des Moines.
In the dining hall, the on-site Genesis dietitian designs a nutritious and delicious menu with choices for each meal, and the center has complimentary cable television for residents and guests to enjoy. Additionally, the on-site beauty shop is a popular stop for many residents. Laundry and housekeeping services also are available, as is assistance with scheduling transportation off-site.
