D & C Elderly Home is in the city of Elk Grove, a suburb of the California state capital of Sacramento. The city is located in the central valley, just a few hours’ drive from either the Pacific coast or the Sierra Nevada mountains. D & C Elderly Home is a memory care facility with trained caregivers staffing it around the clock to supervise residents and provide gentle assistance where needed. Help with bathing, dressing, bathroom needs and mobility allow residents to maintain as much independence as they are able. The community is equipped to allow aging in place, keeping seniors in their familiar surroundings as their needs and level of care changes. Accommodations include housekeeping and laundry services, plus bathrooms equipped with safety features. The facility has just 6 beds and a 3:1 resident to caregiver ratio. Medication management and diabetic care are provided.
