Christian Care Communities & Services sit on an expansive twenty-five acre campus. The administrator and numerous staff members have worked for Christian Care for more than a decade. The facility boasts three full-time activity directors. The activities staff prioritizes resident participation, and it shows: as many as ninety residents participate in some of the activities!
The covered entrance is convenient when entering and exiting the building in bad weather. The wide hallways are filled with artwork. Christian Care is well-maintained and has undergone several major renovations. Residents’ rooms are housed in two sections; each wing has sixty beds. The rooms in the older section are certified by Medicaid. Most of these beds are filled by residents who have spent down their resources. There are rarely openings for seniors from outside of the facility. The new wing, built in 1985, has larger rooms with faux wood flooring, which is easier to maintain than carpeting. There are plans to add a dividing wall to the semi-private accommodations. All of the rooms have lovely views of the landscaped grounds.

The main dining room has linoleum floors and doubles as an activities room. The tables are on rollers so they can easily be moved out of the way for activities or cleaning. Management plans to divide the dining room into smaller areas to make it more homelike. The common area has floor-to-ceiling windows that look out onto the gardens.
