Merrill Gardens at Monroe is owned and operated by Merrill Gardens, a family company that has been committed to providing an alternative to traditional retirement housing since 1993. As a resident-focused company, we strive to provide the best in retirement community living by supporting independence, individuality, privacy and the decision-making abilities of our residents.
Meals are served in our restaurant-style dining room which allows residents to come and go as they please, taking meals whenever they feel like it through our Anytime Dining program. Guest meals can also be provided should residents wish to bring a friend or family member during a visit, and our private dining room is available for use when holding special events.
With over 120 apartments available in studio, one- and two-bedroom floor plans, residents of our community enjoy homelike residences that meet their personal preferences. Each apartment comes standard with a kitchenette, private bath, individually controlled thermostat and emergency call system. Residents can also enjoy cable TV and Internet access from within their rooms.

At Merrill Gardens at Monroe, our dedicated staff are available 24 hours a day and have been specially selected and trained to assist residents with their various personal care needs. Transportation can be provided to activities and events as well as medical appointments.
Seniors of our community who face the daily challenge of Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia reside in the Garden House section of our community. Here, they receive specially tailored services and activities through our Personal Pathways Program in a supportive and secure environment.
