Broad River Homes is an affordable 48-unit independent living community for seniors who don’t need 24/7 medical care or nursing support. The community features 34 studio apartments and 14 one-bedroom apartments, with five fully accessible for those with mobility disabilities. Apartments at Broad River Homes feature window coverings, individually controlled thermostats, hard-wired smoke detectors, cable television outlets, and an emergency call system. Optional air conditioning window units are also available, and residents benefit from a full kitchen with a supplied refrigerator and electric stove as well as a full bathroom suite with shower or bathtub. The community’s live-in superintendent and on-site residence services coordinator oversee building maintenance and provide general assistance to residents.
