Since 1973, Bethany Gardens Skilled Living Center has been providing compassionate care to seniors in Rome, New York. It’s located in a residential area that’s convenient to shopping, restaurants, churches, banks and medical offices, and it’s just minutes from the local hospital in case of emergencies.
Focused on helping its residents improve their functioning skills, Bethany Gardens Skilled Living Center offers long-term care and short-term subacute rehabilitation, including intensive therapeutic care for orthopedic, neurological and cardiac patients. There’s also a specialized memory care unit for seniors with Alzheimer’s. Staff members are on-call 24 hours a day, and the community’s in-house physician visits residents three times weekly for checkups. Therapy is available up to seven days a week, including physical, occupational and speech therapy. For residents’ convenience, dental care, optometry, podiatry and psychological counseling are provided on-site.
