Accura HealthCare of Ames is a senior residential community in a northeast suburb of Ames, Iowa. The community borders the South Skunk River, with lush fields to the west that make for a peaceful stay. Although peaceful, there are still plenty of outdoor outlets like the Ada Hayden Heritage Park Lake, the North Grand Mall and many restaurants.
Although Accura HealthCare of Ames is primarily an assisted living community, it provides multiple care levels that include rehabilitation, skilled nursing, hospice, memory care and respite care. On-call physicians, registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, licensed practical nurses and CNAs ensure issues can rapidly be taken care of. The community also has a 24/7 admitting policy. Other services include dialysis, medication management, speech and physical therapy.
