We realize there are many things
to consider when looking for a retirement community, and that selecting the
"right" community for you is a very important decision. Carlton Plaza
has specially trained Retirement Counselors, who can be an invaluable help to
you in your selection process. The counselors can answer all of your questions,
guide you through the process and even help you arrange for your move. But most
of all, they become a friend and ensure that your transition is as smooth as
possible. They can explain how our optional Assisted Living can be supplied
to you in the privacy of your own apartment, just in case you ever need it.

you in any way possible.
We recognize how important healthy,
well-rounded and delicious meals are to our residents. These meals shared with
friendly company are what help in creating a quality lifestyle, and our entire
food presentation has been planned with this in mind. To satisfy individual
food preference, we offer menu choices at breakfast, lunch and dinner which
are served to you at table everyday. For your additional enjoyment, we also
host monthly Sunday brunches. We encourage guests to join you from time to time
at this or any other meal. You may also wish to use our Private Dining Room
for special occasions such as family birthdays or reunions, association meetings,
or just to get together with special friends.
We are especially proud of our Social
and Activity Department. You will be busy with companionship, entertainment
and activities at Carlton Plaza. Educational courses, special programs, shopping,
plus a host of other activities are carefully planned by our full time Social
Director to suit the varied interests of our residents. Take a look at our monthly
activities calendar, you'll wonder where you're going to get the extra time
to enjoy the many special events. We also have a very active Resident Council
Association to assist management in improving the many services offered at Carlton
Plaza.
One of the luxuries you'll enjoy
by becoming a resident of Carlton Plaza is our housekeeping service. At the
same time, your bed and bath linen will be changed and we also collect your
personal laundry for washing and folding. If you prefer to do your own personal
laundry, there are resident laundry rooms available for your use, free of charge.
We pride ourselves in providing for all your needs and requests, and we have
several optional specialized services to accommodate you. Additional services
consist of daily bed making, garbage removal, daily laundry or daily linen services,
dry cleaning, etc.
Another bonus of living at Carlton
Plaza is the use of our scheduled transportation vehicles for trips to nearby
shopping centers, churches, medical appointments and a variety of recreational
adventures. These range from day trips into the wine country of Napa and Sonoma
to local plays, theater or seasonal events throughout the Bay Area. For residents
who want to travel more extensively, Carlton Plaza assists residents in planning
special vacations to places like Lake Tahoe, Hawaii or a cruise.
Your safety is of primary concern
to us. Carlton Plaza offers an abundance of safety features. For your protection,
a highly effective Fire Safety System has been installed throughout the building.
There is also an Emergency Call System in every apartment and experienced staff
members on duty 24-hours a day. For additional safety, exterior doors are locked
in the evening. Every apartment has its own deadbolt lock, fire sprinkler, emergency
pullcord and smoke detection system.
